The Pakenham Carols were held at the Toomuc reserve on December 12th, 2015. The carols were held by the Cardinia council and consisted of various activities including of course carols before being finished with fireworks. I was lucky enough to visit Brisbane on the 13th and 14th of November to present at a conference on the Control of Legionella in Healthcare Facilities and the night before I stayed at the Sebel South Brisbane. I had not stayed at this hotel before so thought I would try and get a night panorama photo. I visited the small seaside town of Kilcunda on the morning of the 3rd of November 2015 in the hopes of getting a good Aurora photograph, sadly although I was well set up my timing was wrong and I missed out on the Aurora.
