DxO, the creators of PhotoRAW and the Nik Collection have just announced their new software DxO PureRAW. This is a new piece of software which is designed to enhance RAW files and to expand the capabilities of Lightroom Classic and Photoshop. The software uses exclusive DxO technologies which have developed over nearly twenty (20) years across demosaicing, denoising and optical correction.
DxO PureRAW allows users to prepare and transform RAW files free from digital noise or unwanted optical effects giving even more possibilities using Adobe Software.
The software can easily be incorporated into a photographers workflow ahead of Lightroom Classic or their normal RAW converter and can then continue to use the same editing software. The user interface is simple with a drag and drop interface where you specify the level of denoising, where you want to save the file and the format (DNG or JPEG).
DxO PureRAW has a number of applications, which can also include letting users revisit old RAW images which may have been taken with equipment which is now obsolete making them look like they were taken with the most recent technology due to the expert denoising.
DxO PureRAW for Windows and macOS is now available for download on the DxO website here (or through the links in this article) for a special launch price of €89.99 instead of €129 until May 31, 2021.
