I went through my parents garden today looking for some flowers or something to photograph, and by coincidence this Flower Spider i think (Diaea evanida) was well camouflaged within the flowers and leaves, having shown itself I decided to instead get photos of the spider, who I must say was not at all afraid of the camera / ring flash.
The spider spent a significant amount of time trying to attack me and the camera, but I did get (in my view) some great photographs before the spider was returned to the back yard.
The images were taken with a Nikon D5300, a Sigma 150mm Macro and a ring flash, with the spider on a black porcelain tile before being returned to a nearby unoccupied flower.
