I attended a macro animal workshop on Sunday which was run by Narre Warren Fine Art Printing with animals (mainly reptiles) brought along by Aussie Wildlife Displays, one of the reptiles they brought for us to photograph was the Centralian Rough Knobtailed Gecko (Nephrurus amyae). They are the largest of the geckoes within their genus (Nephrurus) and their total length reaches up to 15cm with females typically being much larger than males. The image was captured on 27/03/2022 10:48:38 AM with a Sony ILCE-7RM4 and 150mm F2.8 G @ 150 mm Macro, 1/160 sec at ƒ / 20, ISO 160 and Studio Strobe. The Gecko was photographed on a black Perspex background and the image was edited in Lightroom CC.
