The MIOPS Capsule 360 is the next in a long line of successful Kickstarter concepts. I have reviewed previous MIOPS gear and noticed their latest Kickstarter campaign (which as of 5.7.18) has eclipsed its $AU 101,653 goal and reached AU $575,101 with another 7 days to go (finishing on 12th July 2018).
The Capsule 360 is a Bluetooth connected motorized rotating device which can be interconnected with other Capsule 360 devices to allow for a wide range of creative motions especially when coupled with an accessory slider.
By combining a range of Capsule 360 devices and accessories, users are able to realize;
- 3-Axis Motion
- One touch Object and Face Tracking
- Automated 360 Product Photography
- Enhanced motion Time-Lapses
- Star Tracking Mode and much more.
The Capsule 360 weighs in at 350g and is only 105mm long at its longest point, and a rechargeable battery will last for up to 8 hours of continuous movement in most modes, and up to one week when capturing time lapses. There is, of course, a port to allow for external USB power for longer shooting.
