Monochrome Parrot

I have not done much around Monochrome / Black & White photography so thought I would try my hand with some silhouettes. Sadly I think the photo is a bit too busy with the various aspects of the tree in the frame which may distract from the actual scene being the bird. Nonetheless it was an interesting experience and I think I will keep experimenting with B&W images as they come up.

The photo was captured with a Nikon D610 & Nikkor 28 – 300mm @ 300mm, f/5.6 & 1/640 and ISO 400. Editing was just basic adjustments in Lightroom.
