Short-Beaked Echidna (Tachyglossus aculeatus)

I live in an area that is on the interface between a true urban and a semi-rural environment, because of that I am blessed with some incredible wildlife just a short distance from my home. Whilst travelling today I came across a Short-Beaked Echidna crossing a dirt road to get to the trees on the other side (I assume for ants). Whilst the environment was not the best to take some images (due to the long grass) I still couldn't help myself and snapped a few shots with the Sony A7R 4 and the Sigma 150-600mm telephoto (@227mm). The camera setting were 1/80 seconds, f/11, ISO 640. I only did some light editing in Lightroom CC.
