I love bird watching and photography so try and get a few shots whenever I can, during a visit to my parents in Beaconsfield Upper, Victoria, Australia I came across this bird. I had seen them before but only briefly and didn’t get a chance to snap a quick photo so this was a nice change. This is a Yellow-tailed black cockatoo (Zanda funerea). The image was edited with Topaz Photo AI and Lightroom CC. – Photographed on 18/6/2023 3:51:43 pm with a Sony ILCE-7RM4 and FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS @ 600 mm, ¹⁄₂₅₀₀ sec at ƒ / 6.3, ISO 6400. An interesting fact about these birds is that their lifespan can exceed 50 years in some cases!
