Earlier we showed some images of Aspirin by polarized light microscopy, however I thought I would supplement that by dark field microscopy which in my view looks just as interesting. The image on the left if a high magnification image of Aspirin by dark field microscopy, whilst the image on the right is the same sample but at a much lower magnification.
The images were taken using the Radical RXL-4T microscope with a Nikon D5300 DSLR and were focus stacked using Helicon Remote and Helicon Focus. Since automatic metering does not work with the adapter for the microscope to camera, I had to manually determine the exposure through trial and error.
