The king of the jungle put on a great show at the Melbourne Zoo, The Lion. It commands respect, and I was far happier being on my side of the protective glass than on the ‘your my dinner' side of the glass. I remember standing there impressed with this creature, the fear that they strike into others is evident in a heartbeat.
