I visited the Melbourne Zoo earlier in the year and got a number of photos including of some of the Reptiles.

I am not a fan of the reptiles, I know people have pet snakes and Lizards and so on but being honest, that is just not for me. That said they are impressive creatures nonetheless and I did love the eye of the Lizard, the snake just plain freaked me out.

The darkness made it difficult to get the photo, as I was shooting without the flash or tripod (but with a Nikon D5300, and Sigma 150mm Macro). If I took these photos again it would be better to use a tripod to get a longer exposure time and making the images sharper. I could try increasing the ISO more however in reality this may create more noise, so a tripod would help the most.
