Skylum have just announced and opened pre-orders for their latest product which is called LuminarAI. Over time more information will be released and when I get access to previews and software I will provide more information and run through videos.

The latest release, LuminarAI, is not Luminar 5 but rather a complete rebuild of the Luminar software with a new engine and new features. In principle it is designed to use the power of AI to help you automate the most common manual tasks and simplify complexity.

A firm release date has not yet been provided however, it is suggested that the software will be released this holiday season.

Pricing

Early bird pricing will be available for the first 30,000 artists worldwide to preorder LuminarAI. Once these copies are sold, the price will go up.

• Luminar^AI is just US$69 with the loyalty discount (for those who have purchased Luminar 4, Aurora HDR 2019, or Aurora HDR) and includes access to the Luminar^AIInsiders community.
• Luminar^AI is just US$79 for new customers and includes access to the Luminar^AI Insiders community.

If you are interested in using AI to enhance your images, this may be a good future release to consider pre-ordering.
