The Heide Museum of Modern Art is a fantastic gallery and garden in Heidelberg, Victoria set on approximately 4 – 5 acres. It consists of an Art Gallery, Cafe and extensive gardens which are fantastic for taking the family to on a lovely day out.
My trip was with the family, including two little children (<1 and 3) and it was a delightful day, we brought along the picnic rug and enjoyed a day on the grass (in the shade) before exploring the gardens with the kids. My personal favorite was the stunning kitchen garden which contained a wide range of plants that were wonderful to walk through.
I would highly recommend a trip (weather dependant).
